In 2018, a campus-wide study was conducted by university business service leaders that explored possible improvements to our current administrative framework.

During this exploration phase, how administrative services at the university are currently delivered and what service delivery model best fits our culture and specific needs was analyzed.

The results of this effort led to the decision that a redesign of UNL’s accounting, payroll, research administration and human resource functions was needed. After forming a steering committee, partnering with consulting firm Huron and incorporating the feedback of all campus organizations, the university has entered the process reengineering phase of its Service Delivery Initiative.

In order for this process to be successful stakeholders are encouraged to become and informed and engage in the process.
